Microsoft Office Live Workspace makes it easy to create lists to capture important information for your business, home, or school projects. You can make lists even more useful by sharing them with others.
You can choose the people with whom you want to share, and you can assign roles that allow them to either comment on and revise content, or only review and comment on content without making any changes.
This article explains how to share a list with others. For information about how to use lists, see Create, move, or delete a workspace list.
Send a sharing invitation for a list
You can invite up to 250 people to share a list.
-
In Office Live Workspace, on the left navigation bar under My Workspace, click Documents, and then click the name of the list that you want to share with others.
Notes :
-
If the list that you want to share is part of a workspace, you must first move the list from the workspace to the Documents workspace before sharing it. To move the list, navigate to the workspace where the list appears. Drag the list to the Documents workspace on the left navigation bar.
-
Comments associated with the list are lost when you move it between workspaces.
-
On the toolbar, click Share. A Sharing pane appears.

-
Do one or both of the following:
-
Next to Editors, add the e-mail addresses of people to whom you want to grant read/write access to your list. Editors are able to make changes or add comments to your content, or delete documents, and they can review all changes and comments from everybody who has sharing privileges.
-
Next to Viewers, add the e-mail addresses of people to whom you want to give read-only access to your list. Viewers can add their own comments, but they cannot make any changes to the text in the list. Viewers can see all list content, including comments and revisions made by others with sharing access.
-
If you want to allow your invitation recipients to see your list without signing in to Office Live Workspace, select Let everyone view this without signing in.
-
Next to Message, you can type text up to 1,025 characters long that explains to recipients what you want them to review. The message text appears in the body of the invitation e-mail.
-
Click Send. Your sharing invitation is sent by e-mail. A link to the shared list appears in the body of the e-mail message.
Share a list with additional people
After you have sent your sharing invitations for your list, you can still invite more people to share the list.
-
At the top of your shared list, click View sharing details.
-
Click Share with more. A Sharing pane appears. Repeat steps 3 through 6 in the Send a sharing invitation section earlier in this article.
