The power of your workspace is the content within it, but it can be a hassle to add multiple documents to your workspace manually. To make it easier, Office Live Workspace enables you to upload multiple documents with a few clicks of your mouse.

This demo will show you how to:

  • Install Microsoft Silverlight which enables you to upload multiple documents simultaneously.

  • Select and upload files to your workspace.

  • Troubleshoot uploading errors and stop a document from uploading.

Dear Microsoft movie producers,

Don't you guys think it's kind of odd to use the Mozila Firefox browser for you demo?

I see there is a way to upload multiple files and now even the option to create folders. Is it possible to copy (download) all the contents at once to a local disk? Say if I wanted to archive or backup the contents of my workspace?

Thnx

Last time I uploaded Silverlight my computer crashed. That was 18 months ago. I am still traumatised, financially and emotionally.

But thanks!

Its a toy, a cute little toy, that microsoft has put out to keep us busy and so we wont stray too far away. Why don't they invent something with FULL instructions instead of halfa_ _ed instructions, or better still no instructions. The designers do not take into consideration that we are not linguistically inclined to computer lingo  and design something with FULL instructions so that we wont have to ask all the stupid questions.  Franklin I dread every new program they put out because it is like reading Chinese and I don't speak Chinese.

Works great Microsoft -- I have it running on Windows 7 and I just showed 8 non-technical computer challenged people how to use it on their systems sharing the same docs. Some people just can'tread instructions can they?

You have developed the most unfriendly web pages I have ever encounted. I have been useing computors since the early eighties. Way before windows was around back then CPM was the langguage of geeks.

I find it impossible to navigate on your web pages.

There is too often no way to get back to where I was just before clicking onto something. I know I am not alone in this I see the comments of other frustrated users.

Hey, I wanna upload a whole folder, and/or be able to create a folder within the workspace. I want to be able to 'group' documents within a folder or subfolder. I'm working on one now - how do I do all this?
