I created created an email account associated with my domain name, however, I sent a test email and nothing came throught, i.e., I did not receive the email in my Windows Live email account which is registered with Office Live Small Business.

My website is now live through offive live and the web address is: www.kentlaptopservices.tech.officelive.com.

As you can see this is quite a handfull for a website address?

When signing upto this office live a few years ago I registered the web address as www.kentlaptopservices.co.uk.

If you goto the link above you will see what I mean. I want to be able to select the link www.kentlaptopservices.co.uk and have displayed what is in the www.kentlaptopservices.tech.officelive.com.

How can I redirect my website to this address? Let's face it, nobody want's to be typing in a really lond web address now do they?

I have also got the .co.uk website advertised on my business cards.

Hi,

If you have received an email regarding renewal of your Microsoft Office Live domain then you need to contact Microsoft Office Live support team. You can renew your domain with Microsoft Office Live (without transferring to other service provider).

It would help immensely if you told us what domain name you were attempting to register. Have you checked its availability?

Also, be sure your site account info matches your credit card info, name, address, etc. and that you are in a country supported by OLSB.

Hello,

Please be informed that if your domain name is now with Melbourne IT then you will need to first contact Melbourne IT in this regard. You will need to create an account with Melbourne IT and manage the domain name.

If you are able to manage the domain name with Melbourne IT then you will also be able to transfer the domain to another service provider or back to Microsoft Office Live.

If the domain name which you have mentioned is a re-delegated domain name then you will need to contact the respective service provider in this regard.

However, it seems your domain name is renewed as the expiration is showing as 2010-10-31. You may visit the link mentioned below for more information regarding your domain name.

If you want to manage your Microsoft Office Live Domain name through another Microsoft Office Live account then you will need to cancel it first and re-delegate it to the other account. In order to do this, I would suggest you to contact the Support Team of Microsoft Office Live in this regard.

In addition to above, please make sure to take the back up of your emails as upon cancellation all the email accounts associated with the domain name will also be cancelled automatically.

Domain name extension

Our domain name has the extension .ltd.uk. This is not included in the drop down box and there does not appear to be an override to allow this to be redirected to office live. We have changed the name servers with the registrar but cannot get beyond this point with Office Live. Please inform of procedure
