By the number of previous postings, it seems I'm not the only one with this problem; however, I haven't seen any solutions yet that will help me. I’m a professional photographer, so obviously my goal is to showcase my work. I have several slide show modules on my website. When you visit (www.bozekproductions.com), my homepage is designed to load a slide show module. However, as others have experienced, you temporally see “Loading…” followed by, “Image is missing”. Well, the image isn’t missing, it’s just loading. I discovered that if you click the stop button on the slide show controls, the image will appear. That brings me to another issue I have, there isn’t a manual run option in the slide show setup, just a 5, 10, or 20 second interval setting. Anyway, I know image size can be an issue, my images are a little bigger than what has been recommended by some, but I’m a photographer and quality is everything. Currently, the images are mostly JPEG although some are in the GIF format, in the neighborhood of 144 kb to 360 kb each, and 640x427 in size. As for band width, I just upgraded my DSL service from 1.5 Mbps to 7 Mbps but it hasn’t made a difference. For me, connection speed is not the issue, in fact, I expect some people with slower modems to wait a reasonable amount of time; but no one will wait to see my work if the message reads “Image is missing”. This makes me look very unprofessional. Can anyone offer a solution or a way around this problem? If I’m stuck with this dilemma, can the script be rewritten to read “Image is loading” and do away with the “Image is missing” message? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!
