Good Morning! I noticed your profile as a key knowledge person within the officelive business community. This is my first time working with a website as I had to create a website for the church that I pastor.

I want to create a https url with my header. My reason for this is that I created a basic donation button on paypal for the contributions page on the churches website. I was informed that I could create a custom page within paypal for donatons with the churches header. When I went to create a custom page within paypal for this page, paypal suggested that I have a secure url with my header as this would prevent a notice from poping up indicating that the portal is not secure. Which could potentially deter contributors to the churche.

Could you tell me what to do to create a https link with my header from the churches website. The church website is http://trinitychristiancenter.web.officelive.com

Hi Sam,

I didn't want to make this public but here's some recent, personal history with the billing link (Nov 2009)...

My domain was up for renewal but I moved it to GoDaddy without cancelling first. That way, I didn't have to go through the re-delegation ordeal and MSFT didn't know any better.

Once that was complete, I kept getting renewal notices. One day, I decided to see what would happen IF I changed the billing info and CC info.

I changed the

name
address
city, state, zip
phone number
CC expiration date
CVV2 number

ALL to ficticious names/numbers that had no association to my CreditCard but left the CC number itself intact. Guess what, MSFT ran the card, the CC company approved it and charged me for a domain renewal on a domain that was no longer registered w/MSFT and the CC info was incorrect.

MSFT just chewed my butt a few days ago for asking that they give a bit more guidance for renewal problems. By design, the MSFT support engineers are told to not answer questions until they are several days old so that "Power Users" have a chance to answer first. By then, the domains are totally expired. I have stopped answering those questions because it does not appear that the process for recovery has much hope of working.

Good Evening!

I’m James, From China, I created a Website by Office live 1 month ago,

I insert a lot of pictures/image with the custom footer….

And last night, I just got an error out of the blue on all my pages where the custom footer module has been used.

It says:

Microsoft Office Live Small Business has encountered an error retrieving the data that you requested. Please try again later.

I checked the helps and answers on Ask-Office live forum, but it seem there is nobody post a right solution on this matter….

And now the Lightbox Code can not work on my Website, and also I can not paste the code in a Custom Footer module as well….. I got very sad.

And also I don’t know and not sure whether Custom Footer module will work properly again if we get rid all of Custom Footer Code on my Website.

But,i will have to go through hundreds of pages and get rid of codes!!

Could you help me to solve this matter without get rid all of Custom Footer Codes??

Edit HTML behind Contact Us Page Template

Hi,

There seems to be no edit/view option when i try to see the code behind the submit button (part of the contact us page template/module). Right now after a user clicks submit to send their contact information the page gets cut in half and it places a "thank you" on the page. I actually want a seperate page (which i created already) to replace the "thank you" text being inserted into the same page the button is on. The reason is because i want a conversion point after the submit button is clicked. Right now the page before and after the submit button is clicked is the same page and therefor cannot track if someone "converted" or not (other than if they actually submit information). But if they make it to that page and dont submit anything they still get counted as "converted"

Can you please help with this?
