I was unable to follow you directions on how to add a resume builder. "Click Employee Directory/Jobs and Hiring " does not appear on the left pane as indicated in the step 4. Click Employee Directory/Jobs and Hiring or the created application from left pane. Please help.

Web folder - connector

Moses,
I seen you posted answers to various offce live web connector issues reported in this forum. You said to clear the cache/passport id etc. I tried them all but nothing works.

I am running Vista. I do not have any account stored in "manage your network password" under User accounts but still not able to connect to the web folder.

When I click on 'go to your website folder' it asks for password multiple times, then after a while it will throw up meesage 'windows can not create a shortcut here, do you want it to be places in desktop'. Clicking yes will throw up message 'windows can not create shortcut, check if disk is full' then clicking 'ok' will show up another message 'connector should be insalled..blah...blah..'

Any ideas?

my domain name expired. I have renewed it since yesterday and it is still saying disabled. On the billing manager website, the domain add-on is now enabled but I still cant check my email. What is going on????????

The below instructions you provided to someone else did not work for me. Right now, under billing, it is defaulted to UK and it will not allow me to change it. I am in the US Microsoft Office live.

It seems that you are providing the billing information which is not associated with your Microsoft Office Live account.

Note: The Billing information including the credit card should be of the same country with which the Microsoft Office Live account is associated. For example: If one has signed up with Microsoft Office Live through the sign up URL of United States then, the credit card should be valid in United States.

In addition to above, Microsoft Office Live only accepts credit cards mentioned below:

Amex, Visa, Master card, and Discover

If your billing information is not associated with United States then, you will need to sign up using the sign up URL of the country with which your credit card is associated. However, Microsoft Office Live Small Business is currently available in United States, United Kingdom, Canada, India, France, Japan, Mexico and Deutschland.

You can follow the steps mentioned below in order to sign up with Microsoft Office Live.

Visit http://www.officelive.com
Click on Create a FREE website button.
Click on Change adjacent to Sign up for Microsoft Office Live Small Business.
If you get any message stating "Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page", then, click OK.
Under Microsoft Office Live Small Business Worldwide, click the drop down option.
Select the country.
Click on Go.

Now, you can sign up with Microsoft Office Live with the desired country URL with which you billing information is associated.

about your solution for the denied access into accounts. I am realizing that office live went through major hickups earlier this summer and I am having the same probelm as many - only your steps to cure the probelm are not working for me. Deleting the Passport ID's from my Windows XP system did not work - I still get the denied access warning while trying to go to the "users and permissions" tab in my account managment. An IT guy I know looked at this for me and says it is a systems problem with your server and does not know how to help me either.

Yes, I put in my tech help reqeust via email, but time is of the essence for me and I am in a panic on trying to resolve this issue. Is there anything you can help me with from here?

It would be much appreciated to have your assistance to the knowledg base you seem to have.

Moses Paul, I see that you are answering posts from over two months ago. Please be sure to read the question carefully, so that you actually answer the question. Also be sure that your answer is accurate, and that links you post are related to the original question.

Finally, I noticed that you dredged up an old post that contained a member's id and password. Not only does this bring the post forward so that everyone is reading the poor guy's password all ove again, but it is unlikely that he will ever see that he has done that because the post is over two months old, and is the ONLY post that he ever made. As a Support person, it might be nice if you could have someone wipe out his password from the post.

Moses, don't know that this is the right comment section, but didn't see a place to comment on the thread. I followed your answer until you said click on the module button and footer would be in the dropdown. There's no footer in the dropdown when I do it.
