I am an English teacher over here in Vietnam.  I didn't start out that way.  Like so many in America, I got laid off during the economic downturn in 2003.  My wife (who is Vietnamese) and I decided to go live in Vietnam.  The cost of living here is so low.  And I've been loving it here every minute.

I was stationed over here in Vietnam during the war in 1969.  Then, I never would've thought that one day I would be living here.  The people here are just so very nice, happy and I'm learning so much about life.  They're teaching me more than I possibly could ever teach them.
