Welcome

Hello and thanks for coming to the Office Live Small Business Community. We hope that you find it to be a great place to ask questions, to share your expertise, and to connect with others like you who use Office Live. For a quick tour of the community, check out the video on this page.  We've also added some answers to common questions below.

How do I get started?

You can read and search the entire community at any time, but you must sign in before you can ask questions, contribute to the wiki, or rate or comment on any content in the community. If you're visiting from your Office Live account, the good news is that you only need to register and sign in to the community on your first vist. After that, you will be signed in automatically. If you've come directly to the community without signing in to Office Live, you can sign in to the community by clicking the Sign in link at the top of the page and using the e-mail address and password for your Office Live account. You can also register directly with the community by clicking the same Sign in link.

What should I contribute?

Our goal is to create a community in which Office Live customers can share information and support each other as they use Office Live. You can contribute your expertise by sharing tips and other how-to information, and you can help to identify gaps in knowledge by asking questions. Rating and commenting on existing content such as the blog or articles are also important activities because they help to guide others to finding the "best" content.

For more details about contributing to the wiki, see the wiki guidelines. And of course, all participation in the community is governed by the Code of Conduct.

Are there forums in the community?

Yes, there is a forum called "Show and Tell at the Customer Gallery" that you can use to show your work, ask for advice, or to check out what others have done, and ask them how they did it. Visit the forum.

For those of you who have been in the community before, you may have noticed that other forums are no longer available. Instead, we've moved to a Q&A approach. You can ask any questions that you would have previously asked in a forum in the Q&A section.

What happened to the Resource Center?

The articles and videos that were previously in the Resource Center have been moved to the community. You can find them in the Articles and Videos sections.

More questions?

If you have other questions about the community, feel free to post them in the Q&A section.
