You may have read before on this blog about the improvements we've made based on your feedback. Just to reiterate, at Office Live Small Business, we keep a close ear to the ground to listen to what our customers have to say. We like to hear about how you're using the service, what you like about it, and how you think we could make it better.
If you've ever responded to one of our surveys, or clicked on the "Feedback" link in the footer, let me just say a huge "Thank You." Your comments and input have helped us to improve Office Live Small Business.
If you've ever wondered who's behind those surveys, it's me — Jenni French. My job on the Office Live team is to plan and run our feedback systems, and to make it easy for the team to listen and respond to what you have to say. Through our Office Live Voice of the Customer program, we combine the messages you send us through surveys and feedback forms with your comments from the Community, from support agents, and from Help and How-To articles. We use your feedback to help improve the site, services, and quality of Office Live Small Business.
In the past year or so, we've used your feedback to make some pretty big changes to Office Live Small Business. Some improvements you may have seen include:
1. More control and customization in Site Designer: Thanks to your comments, we've made recent improvements to the Site Designer tools. For example, we've added a tool that lets you choose custom colors when you're designing the background of your page. We've also made it easier to move and resize zones, edit text, and upload pictures to your website. And we've also recently added some new templates and themes, based on your requests.
2. Improvements to the Getting Started experience: From looking at your comments and survey responses, we noticed that some of our newest customers have some of the biggest problems. To help, the team has been hard at work to make it easy for new customers to get started. We've streamlined the sign-up experience, added more step-by-step instructions, and changed the way we talk to new customers, to make easier to learn and get the most out of Office Live Small Business.
3. More speed and reliability: We know how important it is to keep our service up and running reliably, and from your comments we saw that you wanted it to work even faster. We've made many improvements on the back end to make sure that the services you rely on are running dependably every day.
