As a frequent business traveler — I just got back from one trip and am about to head off for another — I welcome anything that makes travel less of a hassle. And if you're like most small-business owners and book your own travel (the way I do), you'll want to check out some new features from TripAdvisor.
At TripAdvisor's Business Travel Center, you’ll find reviews of hotels by business travelers, with a popularity index that shows which hotels most business travelers prefer. That means you don't have to page through a bunch of reviews about how much someone's kids liked the pool or other factors that have nothing to do with business.
According to TripAdvisor, the business-travel database has reviews from business travelers of more than 20,000 hotels in 750 cities around the world.
The Business Travel Center also has interactive maps that let you see where a hotel is relative to your business meeting, restaurants, transportation, and more. You can also narrow your hotel search by hotel chain. This makes it easier to search only for hotels where you have a rewards program membership, for example.
Anything that makes travel faster and easier, I'm on board.
Do you have any favorite travel sites? I'd love to know about them.
